The Simple Trick to Make a Winter Survival Kit for Your Vehicle

One thing about driving during the winter, you never know when your vehicle could be disabled. The team at Honda City Chicago wanted to pass along some tips on how to pack a winter survival kit for your vehicle to keep you as safe as possible.

Be sure to bring a set of jumper cables and a gas can in your vehicle. This will allow any motorist to offer assistance rather than you waiting for the right driver to come to the rescue.

Pack plenty of non-perishables in your kit in the even you and your passengers are stranded for several hours. Things like crackers, granola bars, rice cakes, bottled water, cookies, and peanut butter, can help pass the time and keep everyone from starving.

In addition to plenty of tools in your survival kit, be sure to pack some batteries, a flashlight, road flares, and a big roll of duct tape.
